Why This Creamy Salad Will Win Your Heart
- Creamy Taste: The dairy cream, yogurt, and mayonnaise give this salad a heartier and creamier flavor. I love such thick, creamy salads that feel so appetizing on the tongue.
- Easy To Make: If you’re feeling overwhelmed in your kitchen and need a break, don’t worry; this easy and delicious creamy cucumber salad will make you fall in love with your kitchen all over again. It’s a lifesaver, especially when I’m tired of cooking.
- Fewer Ingredients: Unlike Mediterranean salads, this cucumber salad is too simple and straightforward, with no need for hard-to-find ingredients. Plus, it’s such a time-saving treat.
Ingredients

- Cucumber: Our prime ingredient for the recipe is cucumber. I’m using a knife to cut it into round, medium-sized pieces.
- Dairy Cream: I’m using store-bought dairy cream. Coconut cream or almond cream is the best substitute for it.
- Mayonnaise: I’m a big fan of mayonnaise in salads; it gives the salad a rich, tangy, and slightly sweet flavor.
- Yogurt: This is optional, but I love thicker and creamy content, so I’m blending salad with a few tablespoons of yogurt. Nonetheless, you can also use greek yogurt if you don’t prefer to add dairy cream.
- Sugar & Salt: A pinch of salt and some sugar enhance the savory flavors, making this creamy cucumber salad savory and umami.
Let’s Make The Creamy Cucumber Salad
- Cut The Cucumber: The first step is to slice the cucumber. I prefer a cucumber slice with 0.5 cm to 0.6 cm thickness. The knife seems to be a handy option for slicing. But if you have got any slicing gadget, you can use that.
- Whisk The Dressing: Now, let’s prepare the dressing. First, add yogurt to a mixing bowl and add the mayonnaise and dairy cream. Sprinkle the pinch of salt and sugar. You can add vinegar for a citrus taste, but I’m skipping it now. Whisk this dressing perfectly.

- Add The Dressing Over Salad: Add a cucumber and onion to a bowl, then pour the creamy dressing over it. Mix it thoroughly, and sprinkle the cilantro or fresh drill. Now, transfer it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Now, serve it with fiery and tangy tastes to soothe the heat.
