Ingredients

Potatoes: Baby potatoes are preferable, but you can also use any other type of potatoes. I’m using small pieces of Yukon Gold potatoes.

Mustard Paste: I’m using classic yellow mustard paste. Dijon mustard is also a great substitute for a complex and spicy flavor.

Olive Oil: To give the potatoes a glossy look, you have to douse them in olive oil.

Honey: Honey brings life to this potato dish, so never skip this one.

Spices: For an extra fiery kick, I’m using Paprika, black pepper, fenugreek, and salt. You can also use Oregano instead of fenugreek.

Onion & Garlic Paste: I’m adding onion and garlic paste for a nostalgic taste. Both these ingredients make the dish aromatic and savory.

Herbs: Use any fresh herbs for an extra appealing effect. I’m going with cilantro.

Instructions:

  1. Boil The Potatoes:The first step is to boil the potatoes. You can peel them off or simply go with the skin if you hate peeling. Transfer all the potatoes to a large pan, add water and some salt for taste. Now boil until the potatoes get softer.
  1. Mix Everything:First, add olive oil to a mixing bowl. Now toss the potatoes and all the other ingredients, including spices, honey, onion, garlic paste, and mustard paste. Thoroughly mix this mixture.
