Why To Pressure Cook The Beef?
As I told you earlier, we do not use any kind of grill or oven to tenderize the beef. That’s why a pressure cooker is the best bet to make the beef softer and juicer. Also, it takes less than 20 minutes to cook the beef.
You can also use the instant pot to tenderize the beef.
After pressure cooking, I use a pan-fried method to cook the beef further. This method helps the marinade cook into the beef bites, making them more flavorful and juicier on the inside.
Variations & Tips:
-
Use Colorful Veggies: I’m using green bell pepper, onion, and beef. But feel free to add other colorful veggies on the skewers to make the kabobs more appealing.
-
Citrus & Zesty Touch: You can use the lime juice or white vinegar in the marinade to add a citrus and zesty touch.
-
Must Use Soda: If you want tender kebabs, add a dash of soda to the marinate. It also prevents the beef from drying out during the frying process.
-
Don’t Fry Too Much: I only use frying to cook the marinade. Just be careful not to fry for too long, or the beef chunks will become tougher on the outside.
-
Use Charcoal: I’m using a piece of Charcoal to infuse a smoky flavor of the dish with smoky flavors. This will make the dish taste like a real grilling recipe.
