Real King “Garlic Butter Sauce”

In this recipe, the key player is Garlic Butter sauce!

The chicken is seasoned with salt and pepper, giving it a mild and light flavor. But when this juicy chicken takes a bath in the sauce, all the savory flavors perfectly blend with it, making it one of the most delicious dinners.

The good thing is you can make various changes in the sauce to make it more delicious and bursting with flavors. 

This time, I’ve added lemon juice to the sauce, which elevates the taste, making it more tangy, citrus, and refreshing. 

I think I must share with you the importance of the flame’s intensity while making the sauce. Keep the flame very low; otherwise, the sauce will dry out.

Ingredients 

Boneless Chicken: You must use boneless and skinless chicken breast for this recipe. 

Cooking Oil: You can use cooking oil to deep fry the chicken pieces. 

Seasoning: To season, you need only salt and black pepper. Both these ingredients bring a subtle taste to the recipe. 

Flour: You must coat the chicken with all-purpose flour to give it a golden texture. 

For Garlic Butter Sauce, You need minimal ingredients: butter, garlic cloves, lemon juice, oregano, flour, and chicken stock. 

Tips That You Need To Know

  • When frying the chicken, keep the flame at medium heat. Don’t disturb the chicken for at least 5 to 7 minutes. After that, check the underside—if it’s golden, flip it and cook for another 5 minutes on the other side.

  • To add a hint of sweetness to garlic sauce, add some honey or brown sugar to it. The sweet nodes feel seriously blessed with tangy lemon and spicy garlic flavor. 

  • Pounding the chicken is the secret to making the breast even juicier and tender from the inside. This process breaks down the tough muscle fibers and connective tissue, which helps in cooking the chicken more evenly. 

  • I’ve added flour to the garlic butter sauce to make it thicker because I love thick sauces. But If you don’t like a thick consistency, just add a few pinches of flour for the subtle consistency, flavor, and color. 

  • Before seasoning, apply cuts to the chicken, allowing the seasoning and sauce to perfectly penetrate and flavor the meat during cooking.

I usually eat garlic butter chicken on its own. But if you want a more filling and healthy dinner, serve it with pasta, salad, or rice.

Ingredients
  

  • Chicken (500g)
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 Oil (for frying)

Sauce:

  • Butter (50g)
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Oregano 

Instructions
 

  • First, apply cuts to the skinless and boneless chicken pieces. Now, pound the chicken with a meat mallet or rolling pin to flatten it evenly and tenderize it.
  • Season it with salt and pepper.
  • Coat the chicken pieces in all-purpose flour. Make sure to coat both sides perfectly for a nice golden texture.

  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken breasts. Avoid moving the chicken for at least 5 to 7 minutes. Once the underside turns golden, flip it and fry the other side simultaneously. Keep the flame medium during this process.
  • Remove the oil and chicken from the skillet, or take another pan for ease. Melt the butter in it; add minced garlic pieces, chicken stock, flour, lemon juice, and oregano. 
  • Then add the chicken pieces to the sauce, and let the chicken simmer gently in the sauce for a minute. Keep the flame lower during the process.

  • For a refreshing touch, close the lid and garnish with parsley, mint, or any other herbs.
