1 tablespoon olive oil 1 medium onion diced 2 cloves garlic minced 2 medium carrots sliced 2 celery stalks sliced 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt adjust to taste 6 cups chicken or turkey broth 1 cup cooked wild rice 2 cups cooked turkey shredded or cubed 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half for a lighter version 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour optional, for thickening Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
