  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
  • For the Carrots
  • 1 pound carrots peeled and sliced diagonally
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Peel and slice carrots diagonally.
  • In a skillet, cook carrots with 2 tablespoons of water for 5-7 minutes until tender. Drain excess water.
  • Add butter, honey, and brown sugar to the skillet. Stir until smooth and bubbly. Season with salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
  • Toss cooked carrots in the glaze and cook for 3-4 minutes until coated.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
