Ingredients
  

  • 1 box 12 oz jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese plus extra for topping
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta shells in salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  • In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Fill each shell with the ricotta mixture.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread 1 cup marinara sauce in a baking dish. Arrange stuffed shells in the dish and top with remaining sauce and mozzarella.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
