Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger or 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions for garnish
  • 8-10 wooden or metal skewers

Instructions
 

  • Cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes and soak wooden skewers in water for 15 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  • Marinate the chicken in the mixture for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
  • Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers.
  • Grill the skewers for 4-5 minutes per side, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Remove from the grill, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve hot.
