Prepare the Pan
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Set aside all toppings so they’re ready to go—timing matters once chocolate is melted.
Melt the Chocolate
Chop chocolate into small pieces.
Melt using a microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each, or use a double boiler.
Stir until completely smooth and glossy.
Spread the Chocolate
Pour melted chocolate onto the lined baking sheet.
Use a spatula to spread into an even layer, about ¼-inch thick.
Add Valentine Toppings
Immediately sprinkle candies, sprinkles, and any extras over the melted chocolate.
Lightly press toppings down so they stick.
Drizzle (Optional)
Drizzle melted contrasting chocolate over the top for a decorative finish.
Chill & Set
Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes, or until completely set.
Remove from fridge and let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before breaking.
Break & Serve
Break into irregular bark pieces and serve—or package for gifting.
