Ingredients

  • Oreos: 36 regular Oreos not Double Stuf.
  • Cream Cheese: 8 ounces softened.
  • White Chocolate Chips or Melting Wafers: 12 ounces.

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos: Place Oreos in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form. Alternatively, crush them in a resealable bag using a rolling pin.
  • Mix with Cream Cheese: In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese. Mix until fully incorporated to form a dough-like consistency.
  • Roll into Balls: Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll into smooth balls. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Chill the Truffles: Refrigerate the Oreo balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Melt the Chocolate: Use a double boiler or microwave to melt the white chocolate until smooth, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
  • Coat the Truffles: Dip each chilled ball into the melted white chocolate using a fork or dipping tool. Tap off excess chocolate and place on the baking sheet.
  • Decorate: While the coating is still wet, sprinkle the truffles with Valentine-themed sprinkles.
  • Set the Truffles: Refrigerate the coated truffles for 20 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
  • Serve or Store: Transfer the truffles to a serving dish or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
