Ingredients
  

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz pasta fettuccine, spaghetti, or penne work best
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season and sear chicken breasts until golden brown; set aside.
  • Cook pasta until al dente and reserve some pasta water.
  • Sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes, then add chicken broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan to create the sauce.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and toss cooked pasta in the sauce.
  • Garnish with basil or parsley and serve immediately.
