Ingredients
  

  • Basic Jello Shots:
  • 1 3 oz box flavored gelatin (orange, lime, cherry, or grape for Halloween colors)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup vodka or rum, tequila, or your favorite spirit
  • Plastic shot cups or mini dessert cups
  • Optional Halloween Add-Ons:
  • Gummy worms gummy eyeballs, or candy spiders for garnish
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Food coloring to intensify Halloween colors
  • Substitutions/Alternatives:
  • Use flavored vodka vanilla, whipped cream, or citrus for an extra twist.
  • Swap alcohol for ginger ale soda, or juice to make kid-friendly non-alcoholic versions.
  • Try sugar-free gelatin for a lighter option.

Instructions
 

  • Dissolve Gelatin
  • In a mixing bowl, pour 1 cup boiling water over the gelatin powder. Stir until fully dissolved (about 2 minutes).
  • Add Cold Water & Alcohol
  • Stir in 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup vodka. Mix well so the alcohol is evenly distributed.
  • Pour into Cups
  • Carefully pour mixture into plastic shot cups, filling each about 3/4 full. Place on a tray for easy transport.
  • Chill Until Set
  • Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours, or until firm.
  • Decorate & Serve
  • Just before serving, top with whipped cream, gummy worms, candy eyes, or sprinkles for a spooky effect.
  • Sensory Cue: Shots should be firm but bouncy, with a glossy finish and bold, festive colors.
