Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add olive oil and combine until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Pat cod fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Press the Parmesan mixture onto each fillet, coating them evenly.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cod flakes easily with a fork.
While the cod is baking, melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and parsley.
Drizzle garlic butter over the baked cod fillets and serve with lemon wedges. Enjoy!
